RA 11313 SAFE SPACES ACT "BAWAL BASTOS LAW" An act signed on April 17, 2019 that covers all
forms of gender based sexual harassment commited in public spaces, educational training institutions, workplace and even online space. It is the policy of the state to value the dignity of every human and guarantee of full respect for human rights. It aims to ensure the equality, security and safety for every individual especially women and childrens.
This Republic Act prohibuts cat calling, telling sexual jokes, threatening someone, stalking, and any act that cause someone to feel unsafe or uneasy.
We individuals should know the facts about this law to ensure everyone protected from sexual harassment, no matter their gender is, age, identity recognizing that anyone can be a victim and deserves equal protection. This applies to both physical spaces and even online platforms where people interacts. In short, It covers any area whether in real life or online, where people communicate, or come into contact with each other.

RA 11862: "EXPANDED ANTI-TRAFFICKING ACT OF 2021" A law that strengthens the government's efforts to combat in human trafficking. This act was originally a senate bill that was passed and pressed released during January 31, 2022 also known as the Senate Bill 2499.
Through this act, victims of trafficking including those who are trafficked abroad, in the offshore gaming industry, and in underground online groups will be provided with better protection for the victims. As well as the social media networkers and e-commerce sites would be subject to this regulation.
Ans as a citizen, we should also be mindful and observant, raise awareness on what is happening to our sorroundings. We should also participate in helping, even though our law enforcement agencies must initiate on further investigation and gather counter trafficking intelligence. We should apply to ourselves that HELPING IS ALWAYS CARING.
