Celebrating Women’s Month: A Step to Equality and Inclusive Society

March is a month that blooms with more than just flowers—it’s a time to recognize and honor the invaluable contributions of women around the world. This year, the theme “WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society” echoed deeply within me, encouraging reflection and inspiration.

The word “WE” in the theme felt more than just empowering—it emphasized the unity and shared responsibility. It is a reminder that acceptance is not just about opening doors but ensuring that everyone has a seat at the table and a voice that is heard.

Furthermore, I found myself reflecting on how I could contribute to the theme of gender equality. It’s not always about grand gestures. Sometimes, the most significant changes come from small, consistent efforts.

Women’s Month is not just a celebration—it is a promise. A promise to honor the achievements of the past and to build a future where everyone has an equal chance to thrive. The theme, “WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society,” highlights that this journey is not for women only that must take alone. It is a shared efforts that calls us all to stand together and to heard voices that isn't heard.

As March came to a close, I carried with me not only the inspiration of the women I had met but also a commitment to equality. Women’s Month reminded me that while progress may sometimes feel slow, every step forward, no matter how small, is a step worth celebrating.

 During Christmas break, my family and I spent the holidays together. We celebrate it like it was a much needed break. On Christmas Eve, we attended a late night church, which created a magical atmosphere with hymns and candles. My Christmas was filled with joy as we opened presents, enjoyed the meals together, and spent the time together.  In conclusion, My Christmas vacation was a mix of fun, spending more time with my family, and giving . I started my new year by setting achiveable goals to myself. I plan to focus more on my mental well being by reducing stress through hobbies like reading, painting, and also listening to music to have a peaceful mind in 2025. In addition, I aim to grow personally and build a stronger relationship with my family and friends as they are the reason of my support and love system.
